I went running today. Felt pretty good anyway. I checked the scale again today 194.5, I am not sure it that is actual loss or if I just ate less that day?

I will start Monday, that seems like a logical day. The start of a new week the start of my diet. Ahhh I hate that word, 37,400,000 results when searched on google. Photos coming next week most likely.

That is it!
I am just a normal mid twenty-something girl. I was away at university until November of last year. Up until then I had kept myself smaller, around 160 pounds, I "was" wearing a size 8/10. I guess it was all the exam stress, and late nights without any proper food. I have never really been a large person, average you could say, a little on the taller side at around five feet and nine inches depending on the time of day. I am never going to be a size one and that's not what I am after. Even if I lost 100 pounds I still think that I would be larger than a one, thanks to mummy from whom I inherited my large child-bearing hips and broad shoulders.
Well on with the story, I came back home in November after finishing my 1st degree. I am still in school but living at home with my mum and dad. Well hearty meals each night and homemade cookies and cakes have all taken their toll. I hadn't ever taken note of my weight and yes I did notice that my clothes were starting to fit a little tighter, but I put it off to the normal winter gain that usually happens to me when it starts to snow and I can no longer go biking etc.
Yesterday my Grandparents left for a three week vacation, I was asked to check up on their house every few days, water plants and make sure that everything was fine. I went over this morning checked everything out, watered the plants and all that jazz. I used the washroom before I left and noticed that they had a new scale in the corner. I thought it would be kinda nice to know around how much I weighed, turns out I was wrong. I stepped on the scale. 199.5 pounds. That is only half a pound away from two hundred!!!
So I have decided to lose some. I would ideally like to get down to 170 ish. But we'll see how it goes.
Anyway this blog is more for my personal sanity, I don't really care if anyone reads it or not. If you do that's great, if not well that's great too. Feel free to comment. The more friends I have the better. I will try to get a few pictures up soon so I can visually keep track of my (hopefully there will be some) progress.
